November 16, 2001 LAS VEGAS - It is being hailed as the most dynamic entertainment lineup for the National Finals Rodeo and the excitement begins when Alabama takes the stage in the Las Vegas Hilton Theater Dec. 7-9, followed by Brooks and Dunn Dec. 10-12 and Brad Paisley and Chely Wright Dec. 13-15. Alabama's career sales have topped 65 million records, ranking them ahead of groups like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Queen, Pink Floyd and The Who. Of the more than 20 albums they've recorded, 17 are platinum sellers and have produced more than 70 charted songs. Alabama performs Dec. 7-9 in the Hilton Theater. Tickets are $50 and $60.
Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn will go down in history as country music's top-selling duo. Together, they have sold more than 22 million albums, scored 18 number one hits and been named Entertainer of the Year by both the Country Music Association (CMA) and the Academy of Country Music (ACM). Both organizations have also awarded Brooks and Dunn Duo of the Year a combined 15 years. During last year's NFR, the award-winning duo sold out three shows. Brooks and Dunn perform Dec. 10-12. Tickets are $45, $55 and $65.
Brad Paisley and Chely Wright are two of Nashville's budding superstars. Each has received critical acclaim - Paisley for his first album Who Needs Pictures and Wright for her powerhouse vocals that helped her garner the award for Top New Female Vocalist by the ACM. Together, they will share the stage in the Hilton Theater and bring the NFR entertainment lineup to a close Dec. 13-15. Tickets are $25, $35 and $45.
