Hong Kong's Jockey Club wants to ban the offshore Internet gambling companies
Hong Kong?s Jockey Club wants to ban the offshore Internet gambling companies.
His request came because the internet gambling companies are threaten to undermine its monopoly on horserace betting.
The Jockey Club and other officials have called for the Hong Kong government to pass legislation to outlaw offshore bookmaking.
But, Andrew Cheng, Chairman of the Bills Committee on Gambling doubts the need for urgent passage of such a law.
