22/05/2005 The Texas Lottery paid Benson Equities, Ltd., Elvester Benson, president, $760,000, the first installment of a $19 million prize. The Fairfield winner won half of the $38 million Lotto Texas jackpot for the drawing on December 6th, 2000.
This is one of the two winning tickets for this drawing. The claimant chose the 25-year annuity option, which will pay out $760,000 every December for the next 24 years.
For selling the winning ticket, Rob's Drive In, located at 226 East Commerce in Fairfield, is eligible to receive a one-percent bonus of $190,000. The winning numbers were 35-16-09-01-39-03.
The winner requested minimal publicity.
The second winning ticket was sold in League City and claimed by CLJ Higgins, Ltd., by ROID Corporation by Chris Cahill in December. |
