(LAS VEGAS) -- Vegas summer heat will hit new high's as many of the world's most beautiful women converge on the Aladdin Resort & Casino for the world-famous, bikini-clad "Miss Hawaiian Tropic Western Regional Finals Model Search" Sept. 19 and 20. Gorgeous women from across the West--Nevada, Colorado, Arizona and California-- will vie for the crown, with the top ten finalists receiving more than $20,000 in cash and prizes.

Contestants will arrive on Fri., Sept. 19 for rehearsals. Aladdin's ultra-lounge CURVE will then host a public meet and greet that evening, beginning at 10:30 p.m. CURVE is located on the Mezzanine level of the hotel. Normal cover charges apply: $20, men with local ID are $10 and local ladies are always free. Guests must be 21 years of age or older and fashionable attire is required

The "Miss Hawaiian Tropic Western Regional Finals Model Search" will be held in the Aladdin Theatre Sat., Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. General admission is $20. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the Aladdin Box Office at (702) 785-5000. Tickets can also be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets or by phone at (702) 474-4000 or at ticketmaster.com. Following the competition, ultra lounge CURVE will host a coronation party for the winners. Cover charge is normal: $20, men with local ID are $10 and local ladies are always free. Guests must be 21 years of age or older.

The top two finalists win the opportunity to compete in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic U.S. Finals at Turtle Bay Resort, Hawaii, Sept. 21- 28. Airfare, hotel and meals will be provided for this international competition in Hawaii, as well as wardrobe that includes a surfing costume, survival outfit (camouflage) and state costume. The top two contestants also receive $500 in spending money. Third place receives $300. Fourth place takes home $200. Fifth through tenth place receives $100. All top ten contestants take home a painting from pop artist Steve Kaufman worth $1,500.
