The Silvestre Framing Contractors Partnership today claimed its half of the August 8th Lotto Texas drawing that carried a jackpot of $10 million. Carlos Silvestre is the managing general partner.
The winner chose the Cash Value Option, which will give them the net present value of their share of the jackpot. That comes to a total pay-out of $2,556,068.
The ticket was purchased at the Beechnut Corner Food Store, 4520 Beechnut in Houston. The winning numbers were 26-01-24-21-14-06. They were selected randomly.
For selling a winning ticket, the retailer is eligible to receive a bonus of one percent of the jackpot. The bonus amount for this win is $50,000.
The other winning ticket was purchased in Emory at the Emory Drive In Grocery. The winner, Clayton Emory, claimed his share of the jackpot on August 12th.
The winner requested minimal publicity. |
